Working with Norfolk Holiday Home – The Den
Located along the picturesque coastline of Norfolk lies the old fishing village of Eccles-on-Sea. In this idyllic setting, The Den, a charming 3-bedroom holiday home property with steps from the garden to the sand dunes, offering guests a cozy seaside haven amidst the beauty of the north Norfolk coast.
Every sanctuary deserves a touch of refinement and comfort, and that's where Aldiss stepped in. The story of Aldiss and The Den is a great example of local collaboration showcasing how a retailer's expertise in furniture and furnishings can help to elevate the guest experience and stay at a holiday home property.
Aldiss worked closely with The Den's owners and interior designer to reimagine the interiors of their family holiday home. Drawing inspiration from its coastal surroundings, Aldiss curated a selection of furniture and decor that seamlessly blended modern designs with coastal charm.
The Living room - a space for socialising and relaxing so comfort was key. They chose the Fabio sofa collection in a 3-seater sofa, 2-seater and matching armchair. The collection is modern yet practical for everyday use. With the addition of a Stainguard treatment, just in case!. To complement the sofa collection, they matched this with the coastal sideboard which offers some extra storage. To add a little light on a darker evening and something a little quirky our Grey Oversized Floor Lamp was a great choice, tying in with the greys from the sofa.
The Kitchen has been kitted out with all the accessories and gadgets you might need while staying at a holiday home property. There is even a slow cooker so after a long day walking the Norfolk coastline you can come home to a warming casserole or stew.
The Dining Room - the extendable dining table seats 6 people and is from our Coastal dining furniture collection. Ideal for family breakfasts or an evening of board games! Our Thomas Cook large wall clock takes centre stage as a focal point in the room
The Bedrooms - creating a cosy environment to rest was our key focus here. All bedrooms were upgraded with fresh new duvets and pillows with mattress and pillow protectors. The chest of drawers, again from our coastal collection, added natural oak textures, and with extra lighting from a range of table lamps the rooms really came together.
Throughout the property all windows were measured by the expert curtain and blinds team from Aldiss. Fabrics and styles were then discussed, and ideas shared. All blinds, curtains and matching cushions were made to the required specification and fitted by the team.
All the products were thoughtfully selected to give a sense of warmth and relaxation. Soft, pastel hues throughout, matched with oak furniture really added a touch of sophistication to the interior.
The success of this project shows the strength of local businesses coming together to support and uplift one another. Today, as guests step through the doors of The Den, they are greeted not only by the breathtaking beauty of Norfolk's coastline but also by the warmth and elegance of its interiors, courtesy of Aldiss.
